5N Plus produce a variety of tin compounds, mainly for use in solar applications. We also produce a variety of forms of tin used for doping and for alloys in radiation shielding.
Tin is a silvery malleable metal that does not easily oxidize in air, and is therefore used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion. Bronze, the first alloy used on a large scale dating back to 3000 B.C., is an alloy of tin and copper.
